What is plus 90?

how does it work?

The treatment uses a probe that delivers safe and controlled doses of radio-frequency energy that generates heat and targets the internal and external genital tissues. WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE TREATMENT?

Patients can expect to feel a gentle heating sensation during treatment. You may have the feeling of needing to urinate. You may feel some warmth, tingling or contractions that could remain after treatment. The procedure lasts about 15 minutes, including the treatment of the external genitalia and the internal vaginal tissues. There is no anesthesia or medication necessary. Results can be felt and seen immediately, with improved results over the following weeks or after multiple treatments.

Contraindications

  • Abnormal Pap smear in the last 12 months

  • Previous history of cervical cancer

  • Previous bladder sling surgery

  • Any metal implants from previous surgery

  • Pacemaker

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Currently menstruating

  • Active herpes lesion

pre & post care instructions

2-4 days before:

Shave hair in area to be treated.

DO NOT remove hair with chemical products or waxing morning of procedure.

Shower as normal.

DO NOT use any products internally or externally; such as lotions, powders, lubricants.

You may have some clear vaginal discharge for a few days. You can use a panty liner if needed.

48 hours after treatment DO NOT have intercourse OR place anything in vagina.

Call us if you have pain that is not relived with Tylenol, foul odor, drainage that is not clear, fever or blisters.
