post care

You got a set of lash extensions! To continue looking fabulous until your next appointment, proper aftercare will play a significant role. Follow these guidelines consistently for optimal longevity and to keep your lashes looking amazing.

•Use the clean spoolie brush provided at your appointment to gently comb through your lashes every morning and every time they get wet. This helps to prevent tangling and keep them aligned.

•Sleeping positions matter. Try to sleep on your back or on your side to prevent any unnecessary friction on your lashes.

•Avoid oil-based products and oily eye makeup removers as they can weaken the bond between the extensions and your natural lashes. Opt for oil-free or water-based products instead.

•Do not use waterproof mascara on your eyelash extensions. It is difficult to remove and may cause damage when taking it off. Ideally, no mascara should be used on your extensions.

•Avoid excessive exposure to heat, steam, and prolonged exposure to water as it can weaken the adhesive bond. For example, avoid hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms for an extended period of time.

•Be cautious while applying creams and lotions to avoid premature breaking down of lash glue.

•Do not touch or rub your lashes excessively as it can lead to premature shedding. Avoid pulling or tugging on them.

•Do not use an eyelash curler on your extensions. The extensions already provide a curled effect, and using a curler can cause damage or breakage.

•Refrain from pulling out the lash extensions by yourself. If you wish to have them removed, visit us for safe removal.

•Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools or saltwater as these can weaken the adhesive. If swimming is necessary, consider wearing goggles to protect your lashes and avoid prolonged exposure to the water.

•Visit our lash technician, Glenda, for regular touch-ups every 2-3 weeks to maintain your desired look.

•40% of lashes must be remaining for your appointment to be considered a fill. Shedding beyond that will be considered a full set.
